Burgum honors ND Air National Guard’s 119th Wing at groundbreaking for Consolidated Operations Center

“These projects will ensure that North Dakota’s Air and Army National Guard forces have the best facilities and latest technology they need to maintain readiness, conduct training and protect freedom at home and abroad,” Burgum said. “We’re grateful to our state’s congressional delegation for securing the federal funding for these facilities and to our North Dakota National Guard Soldiers and Airmen for their unwavering commitment to being ‘Always Ready, Always There.’”

Gov. Doug Burgum and Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring announced that the North Dakota Emergency Commission has approved $2.5 million to reactivate the Emergency Feed Transportation Assistance Program to help reimburse a portion of hay transportation expenses for eligible livestock producers who have lost feed supplies due to drought.

“The health and safety of North Dakota citizens remains our top priority, and safe, effective vaccines are our best tool to preserve hospital capacity and protect against COVID-19, including the highly contagious delta variant spreading rapidly across our state,” Burgum said. “Today’s announcement that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine meets the FDA’s high standards for full approval instills further confidence that the vaccine is safe and effective and helps address vaccine hesitancy related to the emergency use authorization. Individuals who still have questions or concerns about the vaccines are encouraged to visit with their doctor or medical provider.”
