Millions without power from Hurricane Ida
Our friends in Louisiana, particularly those in New Orleans (which
happens to be my favorite city in America) got hit hard by Hurricane
Ida. Besides normal hurricane damage, it has caused catastrophic power
grid failure that could potentially last for weeks.
Here's a summer power outage survival guide that may help you keep at
least a little bit more comfortable during this hot-weather blackout.
And for those who are NOT in a hurricane-prone area, remember that a
summer power outage can be every bit as life-threatening as a winter
one. Use these suggestions to get prepared, because you just never
know.
