Mobile Office Hours in Goodyear

Casework Highlight

A constituent recently contacted our office because she was approved for Social Security Disability compensation in March of this year, but she had not received any payments. She was very frustrated because every time she contacted Social Security, she got a different answer. My team reached out to Social Security and confirmed the issue was with the Payment Center and the Appeals Council. We worked with the Payment Center and the Appeals Council to expedite the processing of the constituent’s case and she received her back payment of funds in the amount of $20,064!

Arizona's District 8 Congressional Recognition

My office recently presented Captain Chris Blundon of the Peoria Fire-Medical Department with Arizona’s District 8 Congressional Recognition for his response to a motor vehicle and motorcycle accident in May of this year involving a high school senior. When arriving on scene Captain Blundon and his crew, Engine 194 immediately recognized the injuries to the student’s leg and applied a new tourniquet. The new tourniquet saved most of the patient’s leg and his life. Read more on this story in the Peoria Times by clicking here.
