They are guilty of gross, species-imperilling negligence.
 
 
But now we the people are demanding that they wake up and move into urgent action.
 
 
In addition to declaring a code-red emergency at the COP26 conference in November, we’re calling on them to fulfill five demands to stave off a long dark age.

Once you’ve done so, print out one or two dozen copies and whack them up around your city — on lampposts and bare walls, shiny storefronts and corporate facades — and/or spread the meme across the Internet.
 
 
If world leaders don’t heed our demands, we’ll rise up and bring this doomsday machine of theirs to a sudden shuddering halt.
