By making a donation today, you can help young people participate in a global project to build peace.
Did you know that South Sudan is the youngest nation in Africa and also has the highest population of youth, accounting for 90% of its population? In the words of the Peace Education and Action for Impact Project participant, Bior Garang: “In ideal conditions, these facts would be a source of great hope for the future of this country. However, conflicts and being one of the world’s least developed countries, has had a negative impact on the realities of the young people in South Sudan.”
Our project, in collaboration with the Rotary Action Group for Peace, can shift the political and social landscape for youth in South Sudan by making this a moment of hope and opportunity for change. And you have the opportunity to help make that happen.
By making a donation today, you can help 10 young people in South Sudan participate in this global project to bring peace to this country that has been devastated by war and conflict.
Hear more from Bior about how your support can help:
All donations made will go directly to very minimal fees associated with costs for each member country to participate in this game-changing program. With eleven countries involved and ready to kick-off the first course in just a week, there are still a few that haven’t been able to raise the funds to make their involvement possible, including South Sudan. Other countries still needing support are Serbia, Ukraine/Russia, and Venezuela.
