If we hit this, it will give our team the funds we need to keep electing compassionate prosecutors who will advance our fight for justice, hold violent police accountable, and free innocent people from unjust prison sentences.

District attorneys are some of the most powerful elected officials in the whole country.

Just last week, Arthur Johnson — a man who had been wrongly imprisoned for FIFTY YEARS — was released thanks to Larry Krasner and his Conviction Integrity Unit.

And back in February, Joe Ligon was ALSO released thanks to the same DA’s office after serving 68 years for a crime he never committed.

That’s 118 years combined. And they could still be in prison today if not for the DAs that you and our movement helped elect.

That’s why I say this is life-saving work. I’ll keep saying it, too. It’s some of the most important work I’ve ever done in my life.
