I just got off the phone with my finance team, and they let me know we’re still a bit short of our August fundraising goal. Before I explain to you why it’s so important we keep the momentum up, I wanted to personally ask you to chip in a few dollars to my campaign to help us raise the $20,000 we need by the end of the month on Tuesday. Currently, I’m at the top of the GOP establishment’s list of 2022 targets, and recently we learned that their dark-money groups are spending an additional $400,000 to air even more attack ads against me -- bringing their total spending in our district this year to over $1 million.
This grassroots team propelled us to victory in 2018 and 2020, and I know with your help we’ll win again in 2022. But we’ll only get there if we build the solid foundation we know we’ll need to take on whatever they throw our way.
We need to keep our momentum up to prepare for another hard-fought election, so my team set an ambitious goal to raise $20,000 before we close the books on our August numbers. John, will you chip in whatever you can to help us raise the $20,000 we need by the end of the month?
