As someone who has been a public servant for almost 30 years, I know what it takes to lead Florida through challenging times.

It’s clear that Ron DeSantis does not.

DeSantis has failed Florida. With skyrocketing COVID-19 cases, he continues to fight political battles and serve his own personal interests.

Florida needs a Governor who is ready to put the focus on its people and their communities -- not on political theater and divisive rhetoric designed to win the Republican nomination for President in 2024. So it’s time to defeat Ron DeSantis.

In the four years I was Governor of Florida we saved 20,000 teaching jobs -- we didn’t threaten to withhold their paychecks like Ron DeSantis.

We expanded voting rights to 150,000 Floridians -- we didn’t limit vote-by-mail and enact voter ID laws like Ron DeSantis.

We created comprehensive healthcare for children through KidCare -- we didn’t sit on millions of dollars of federal aid for childhood hunger like Ron DeSantis.

When COVID took hold in Florida, I took action in Congress to procure loans for small businesses and Floridians -- I didn’t ban mask mandates and ignore CDC guidelines like Ron DeSantis.

But I can’t retire Ron DeSantis without your help. Florida is a competitive state, but it is a WINNABLE state. I know together we can take Florida back and make it a home for all.
