Every day that Republicans control Georgia, I know that they are not keeping our communities safe.

Here are the facts:

- I'm fighting in Congress to curb gun violence and help Georgians recover from the pandemic.
- Georgia Republicans are fighting common-sense gun safety measures and taking away benefits from Georgians.
- Georgia Republicans are doing nothing to curb the spread of COVID-19 and preventing local governments from protecting their communities from the virus.

Their actions are absolutely jaw-dropping.

I turned the pain of losing my son Jordan to gun violence into the drive to run for Congress so I could honor his legacy and keep Georgians safe. But as long as Republicans control our state government, they will obstruct Democrats’ efforts to protect Georgians.
