For decades now, the Supreme Court has been steadily gutting elements of the Voting Rights Act, leaving it a shell of its former self.

A new bill aims to restore key provisions and protect voters from discrimination and disenfranchisement. It’s called the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. And it’s desperately needed in 2021.

Those strong protections are exactly why the GOP won’t support this bill. They depend on discrimination and voter suppression to win elections nation-wide. We can’t let them keep getting away with it!
