“Latino voter turnout could be low in the California recall election" - CalMatters

John,

The California recall election is less than three weeks away, and headlines like this are not what we want to see -- especially when we know the race is within the margin of error!

We don’t have much time, so can you donate immediately to help us mobilize Latinx voters?

According to UCLA researchers, the biggest drop between registered voters and those expected to actually cast a ballot is among the Latinx community!!

We’ve identified 1.8 million Latinos who are at risk of not returning their ballot. Since our community makes up 40% of California’s population, the outcome of this election matters.

If CA Republicans succeed in replacing Gov. Gavin Newsom with a Trump-supporting, right-wing candidate, they’ll move immediately to roll back COVID-19 protections, slash services for our communities, and spread their racist bile. We cannot let the recall succeed.
