Now that the redistricting data is out and legislators and commissioners are feverishly drawing the first draft of the next decade's worth of maps, we thought we'd take a trip back in time to 2011. Understanding how Republicans operated during the last round of redistricting can help us understand some of the tricks and tactics they're likely to use this year.
There's a great book by David Daley called Ratf*cked that goes into detail about some of their 2011 practices. We've pulled out a few outrageous anecdotes and included them in a quiz. Now it's time to test your knowledge: How much do you know about what Republicans did to district maps in 2011?
