In case you missed it, House Democrats passed the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (VRAA) this week! This critical civil rights legislation would restore the integrity of the original Voting Rights Act and help combat voter restrictions across the country.

But Derek knows this fight is far from over, and he needs your help to keep up the momentum. That's why I'm reaching out today. As Derek's finance director, it's my job to make sure our team has the resources we need to keep Derek in Congress fighting for all of us.

Sometimes it's not the amount of money we raise that matters, but the strength of this grassroots campaign. That's why this month's goal is to bring in 500 new grassroots donations before the deadline, and I'm hoping Derek can count on your help.

I just ran the numbers, and we need 334 more grassroots donors to chip in before Tuesday's midnight deadline. Can Derek and I count on you to rush a donation of whatever you're able so we can meet our goal?
