Supporting American Energy Dominance at the Gulf Coast Energy Forum

This week, I joined the Gulf Coast Energy Forum in New Orleans to discuss the United States' role as a global energy powerhouse. There are more than 260,000 energy industry employees working high-paid jobs in Louisiana, and with our LNG and crude export facilities, Louisiana is at the forefront of supplying our allies around the world with energy. I’ve been proud to work alongside President Trump on our American Energy Dominance strategy. It’s critical for the United States to maintain our position as the world’s number one producer of oil and natural gas. Not only is American energy production about economic growth and national security; in Louisiana, it provides important revenues for coastal restoration and hurricane protection.

This week, I joined Fox News Channel’s America's Newsroom to discuss the White House meeting on Syria with Congressional leaders where Democrats once again chose to put partisanship over working seriously to solve the real issues facing American families. Speaker Pelosi continues to pursue impeachment behind closed doors in an effort to shield the truth from the American people.
