#ThreeSecondChallenge Never Underestimate the Impact of KindnessIn today's world, it often feels as if kindness was left by the wayside... like way, way, wayside. From being constantly inundated by frightening news of active shooters and grisly acts of war, to the technology addiction that keeps our eyes and our fingers glued to a device— the opportunities to feel kind or be kind seem to be less and less.
With that in mind, it is important that we never underestimate the impact of an act of kindness, no matter how small.
We recently received the below letter that included the newspaper article pictured above.
Most of us go through our days so focused on ourselves that we may not even recognize the opportunities we have to be kind. In this instance, Lennox took maybe three seconds out of her day to place one of these cards on the windshield of a vehicle that happened to have a veteran plate... but those three seconds made a resounding impact in the life of a veteran who, quite possibly, had never been thanked for his service until that moment.
Can you follow Lennox's example and spare three seconds to spread kindness today? A smile, a hug, buying someone a cup of coffee... what can you do in just three seconds that will have an impact on someone else?
Email us or tag us on Social to let us know if you rise to the #ThreeSecondChallenge to #SpreadKindness.
