Last Thursday, I met with our local law enforcement officials to discuss the crime wave that has devastated our communities over the last few months and how we can stop it. 

Our officers said they need more funding, better outreach, and higher recruitment. Part of the funding they requested will provide body cameras for the officers, who welcome the technology to help provide transparency and protection. 

The radical left’s push to defund the police is extremely dangerous. Our officers need more resources to help fight and prevent crime and they need our support. Unfortunately, the anti-police rhetoric of the left is destroying our communities.
