Look, this is absolutely a winnable race. She won her election by single digits in 2020, and that was before she went all in to join the Sedition Caucus.

There are a lot of reasons you told us that Rep. Boebert deserves to lose her seat.

First and foremost, the role she played on January 6th is troubling at best. Not only did she cheerlead on Twitter that “Today is 1776” but she proceeded to use the platform to broadcast exact locations of certain members of Congress throughout the attack — undoubtedly putting lives at risk.

In her eight months as a member of Congress, she’s openly embraced the pettiness, cruelty, and party-over-country mindset that has infected Republican politics in recent years. She even went out of her way to praise the Taliban while criticizing President Biden. (And on a personal note, I’m appalled by her shameful vote not to grant emergency visas to Afghan interpreters who put their lives on the line for American service members.)

Lauren Boebert’s brand of politics is destructive and dangerous, and she must not be re-elected to the United States Congress. And that’s before you get wind of shady dealings going on behind the scenes. Reports indicate that Boebert failed to properly disclose nearly $1 million in income her husband made in the energy sector, which could be a serious violation of financial disclosure laws.

In this election, we have no choice but to be deliberate about where and how we deploy our resources. That’s why we’re not relying on the same-old strategy of pouring money into TV ads — we’re focused on amplifying the voices of real people on the ground in our target districts. We’ve already ramped up our efforts in Wisconsin to kick Ron Johnson out of the Senate, and now we’re taking on Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s Third District.
