Team, Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett here: Representative of the U.S. Virgin Islands and NewDem Leadership Member. As a NewDem, it’s my mission to give a voice to Americans living, working, and raising families in my home territory of the Virgin Islands. This year, that has meant delivering relief to families hit hardest by the pandemic as well as small businesses that form the backbone of our local communities. It has also meant working to protect voting rights by passing The For The People Act, securing funding for vaccine distribution, and investing in our nation’s infrastructure. By the way, this is also how we win in 2022. We started the year with shots in arms and checks in pockets. That was a great start.
