John,

Earlier this year, the Montana Democrats Rules Convention proposed changes to include establishing tribal committees within our governing document, giving Montana Native Americans truly representative voting strength.

The Montana Democratic Party’s job is to be inclusive and representative of all Montanans. Native Americans make up 7% of Montana’s voting population and tribal committee votes alone would be 7% of our state party convention votes. In a time when Montana Republicans are trying to make it more difficult for Native Montanans to vote, it is even more important that our Native communities have their voices heard!

Help the MDP continue to grow our Native Program and reach these critical voters. We want to get 150 donations by the end of the day Monday, so chip in $15 today!

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Representation is critical to democracy. If you’re able to give today, please give through this link: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/2108-q3-nat

Thank you,

Montana Democrats

The Montana Democratic Party is the party of the people. We welcome to our cause Montanans of every color, creed, and condition. Our history as a party teaches us that by working together and speaking as one, we can move society forward, especially when we raise our voices for those among us with little money, influence, or acceptance.
