This week, the House finally passed the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. This monumental law would restore protections eroded by decades of attacks on your right to vote.

There's no better time than now for Bob's Republican colleagues in the Senate to do their part to pass this critical bill. Fifty-eight years ago today, the late John Lewis helped lead the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, and built the momentum needed to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

Now is the time to do our part.

Since the last election, Republican politicians across the Nation have repeated Donald Trump's big lie to justify a tidal wave of new voter suppression bills.
