Top House Democrat says party would lose elections if they were held today: report
— The Hill
John,

As the Chair of the DCCC’s Frontline Program, it's my mission to protect our House majority, and to be frank, I am concerned. The DCCC Chair has already said: If the midterms were held today, we would lose the election.

Between this news and the fact that the National Republicans who are targeting me have raised record sums, the fact remains that not only am I introducing myself to new voters in a tougher district, but our majority is at stake.

We need the resources it will take to stand up to our opponents and keep our majority. Can you help me in this fight by chipping in $20 towards our $15,000 goal ahead of our August deadline? If we lose our Democratic majority, Republicans have made it clear that they intend to undo our work — and make sure critical issues like voting rights protections, climate justices, and rebuilding our economy never see the light of day.

We’ve already seen Republicans in state legislatures take every opportunity to pass voter suppression bills into law and downplay the effects of COVID-19 — we cannot allow this at a national level too.

Help us show Republicans how strong our campaign is by chipping in before our deadline → [[link removed]]

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Be well,
Ami
