Here are the facts, friend:

1.
Glyphosate, the key ingredient in the weedkiller Roundup, is linked to cancer and shorter pregnancies. Its health risks have created so much legal liability, Bayer Ag is pulling glyphosate from the residential market.
2.
But more than 250 million pounds of glyphosate will still be used each year on American farmland, including on food crops, right before harvest.
3.
EWG tests repeatedly found shockingly high levels of glyphosate in General Mills products, even Cheerios.

And it gets worse. General Mills has done nothing to protect its consumers from this cancer-causing chemical since we first exposed the problem more than a year ago.

More than 243,360 supporters have already joined EWG in the fight to get glyphosate out of Cheerios, but I just checked your record, and I don’t see your name. Take a look:

Scientists have been sounding the alarm about glyphosate for years. The World Health Organization and California state scientists have linked glyphosate to cancer, and new studies have linked glyphosate to shorter pregnancies, but it is still sprayed on crops directly before harvest.

It should be an easy choice for General Mills: Either continue to sell food contaminated with a cancer-linked chemical or do the right thing and get glyphosate out of their products. But so far, they’ve chosen to do nothing.

Click here to take action! Tell General Mills to protect consumers’ health and stop buying oats treated with glyphosate.

Thanks for taking action, friend.
