We've all watched what's happening in Afghanistan with shock, disappointment, and grief, as the Taliban has taken over the government and terrorist groups have launched attacks against US forces and those who supported us during the war.

Now, many, many Afghans who have helped the US are in dire straits: they need to leave Afghanistan for their own safety but are often going to unfamiliar places with no idea what is in store for them.

We need to step up and help these folks.
