This month is a special anniversary for me.
26 years ago, I won a gold medal for the US at the 1995 World Championships with my rowing team. And I was honored to then compete in the 1996 and 2000 Olympics.
I rowed in the “engine room,” the middle four rowers of the boat. My team depended on the engine room rowers to work as hard as we could to propel us to that finish line. It was unglamorous work, and I loved it.
I’ve learned that what it takes to row is what it takes to lead. I’m ready to bring the engine room to Washington and lead Montana to a stronger future, and I’m betting you are too. To commemorate this 26th anniversary of winning gold, will you pitch in $26 to my campaign today?

Public office, like the engine room, isn’t for show ponies. You have a duty to show up, deliver results, and be accountable to the people, not kowtow to special interests and the wealthy.
Montanans need leaders who bring the power of the engine room -- who are focused on fighting for working families that have been left behind from 40 years of Republican economic policies.
I’m running for Congress to work hard every single day for working and rural Montanans, not to make headlines.
Grassroots campaigns win races by keeping our eyes in the boat and working as hard as we can -- from now until the finish line. I know I can count on this team. Please, pitch in $26 -- or half that, $13 -- to my campaign today »
