Our prayers go out to the military personnel, their families and the civilians who lost their lives yesterday in in the terror attack in Afghanistan. May God give them comfort in this hour of mourning. There is no greater sacrifice than to give one’s life in service of their country.
Our deep sorrow is heartfelt especially in light of the fact that this did not need to happen. The devastating results of President Biden’s incompetence and plainly flawed withdrawal plan cumulated in the tragic loss of 13 Marines. The chaos we have witnessed in Kabul in the last few days highlights the inability of President Biden to effectively do his job: to protect Americans and our allies who stood by our side for 20 years. We have abandoned US citizens to the mercy of the Taliban and turned our backs on those who gave us assistance during our time in country. It is truly shameful. It is a sad stain on our country.
We call on President Biden to resign or face impeachment for dereliction of his duty to the American people.
We humbly honor those who died. We thank them for their service. We owe them an eternal debt of gratitude.
They will never be forgotten.
