I’m absolutely floored.

This medical experimentation on incarcerated individuals is absolutely unconscionable.
Ivermectin is a drug used to treat parasites in livestock , it is not an antiviral treatment for COVID-19. The FDA warns that the improper use of drugs like Ivermectin can cause serious harm -- making the use of this unverified treatment on inmates is not only extremely dangerous, but immoral.
Let me make one thing clear: we already know what is effective at mitigating COVID-19 -- wearing masks, and getting vaccinated. That’s it.
To suggest otherwise, or to stay silent in the face of this mistreatment of inmates, is extremely unethical and unbecoming of anyone who seeks to lead the state of Arkansas.
That’s why I’m speaking up. We can’t let ineffective leadership put any more lives at risk. I want to move Arkansas forward using science and facts, not fear.
I’m calling on the Washington County Sheriff’s office to immediately cease this ineffective and immoral use of Ivermectin. Will you join me by signing on to my petition? [[link removed]]
LEAD WITH SCIENCE >> [[link removed]]
These inmates are human beings, who deserve to be treated with the same dignity and respect as anyone else.
The only way we’re going to make it out of this pandemic is together -- and that means we need to safeguard the welfare of every Arkansan.
I’m tired of seeing people in positions of power further the spread of misinformation that continues to put lives at risk. Situations like this emphasize the critical need for strong, moral leadership.
If elected governor, following science will never be a question for me. If you’re with me -- will you rush to add your name to my petition? [[link removed]]
