MESSAGE FROM THE REPUBLICAN LEADER
House Republicans and Friends Across New Hampshire,
Especially as schools begin to reopen around the state, we are reminded how critical a proper education is to forming well-rounded and intelligent citizens.
This week as Education Freedom Account Applications go live, I encourage all families to go online to see if you qualify and to fill out an application. This year, our caucus has worked hard to ensure that if you are ignored by your local school board, you have options. Whether it is homeschooling, transferring schools, or sending your child to a charter school, House Republicans understand that there is no "one-size fits all" solution to providing our children with an environment where they can learn.
Also, as legislators continue to prepare to file their legislation for the upcoming session, I want to remind everyone that in observance of Labor Day, all New Hampshire State Offices will be closed on Monday, September 6th.
Finally, I would like to extend our caucus' gratitude toward all of our men and women who have served our country in Afghanistan. We hope to see all Americans safely evacuated as soon as possible and call upon our fellow legislators and leaders to help assure this is done in a timely and urgent manner.
All the best,
Jason Osborne, House Majority Leader
