"House lawmakers approved new legislation aimed at protecting the right to vote on Tuesday, amid a wave of restrictive new elections laws from Republican-controlled state legislatures." - August 24, 2021

John,
In state legislatures across the country, Republicans have followed Donald Trump's attacks on our democracy by introducing a record-breaking number of bills to restrict the right to vote. After losing the House, Senate, and White House, they're resorting to attacking our right to vote in order to win in 2022.
Protecting our democracy will always be a priority for Kim. That's why earlier this week, Kim voted to pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, a bill which she was an original co-sponsor of.
This legislation will restore key provisions of the Voting Rights Act and ensure equal access to the ballot box for ALL Americans. Now, we need the Senate to pass this critical legislation and ensure President Biden can sign it into law.
Kim will always stand up against any attack on our right to vote, but she needs your help to keep fighting.
Will you chip in before our end-of-month fundraising deadline to help keep Kim in Congress fighting to protect our right to vote?
Thanks,
Team Schrier
National Republicans have named Rep. Kim Schrier's district a top target for the midterms, so we need your help to build another winning campaign. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and the Democratic House majority in 2022?
