Hi John,
You
need to see this:
This is our reality. White supremacists are running for school board seats... and they're no longer hiding their beliefs through dog whistles like "tough on crime" and "welfare reform" and "make America great again." They're openly stating their hate, and they're gaining traction.
You can help defeat them by chipping in $5 or more now to continue supporting diverse young progressives running for state and local office.
Josh Wells's bigoted beliefs drive his politics. And he's not shy about it -- he's quoted saying that he's in favor of a "pro-white country with a protected white majority."
That alone should call us all to action, John.
Proud Boys across the country are gaining institutional power,
seat by seat.
Run for Something is prepared to fight back against candidates linked to hate groups. We're doing everything in our power to help diverse young progressives win school board seats. Without our candidates on the front lines, Proud Boys (and other white supremacists) could take control of the safety and well-being of students, not to mention what they're taught.
And that's not the reality we want to live in.
We must ensure that the people we elect to school boards reflect the diversity of students -- which is why we can't give Proud Boys-affiliated candidates a single inch. Will you chip in $5 or more to support our diverse young progressive candidates?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
We can't fail students, John -- let's keep fighting until we've taken down every Proud Boy running for school board.
Thanks,
Run for Something
