But our planet is not a lost cause. It can't be. As the United Nations IPCC's report laid out just this month, exactly how much worse the climate crisis gets is largely up to us.

Washington, D.C. may be dragging its feet on climate action, but Washington state is making strides: Just this year, we've passed a historic new Clean Fuel Standard and a cap-and-invest program, which will curtail our greenhouse gas emissions over the coming years.

That's exactly what the IPCC report tells us we need to do.

But there's more work ahead, and I hope you'll stick with me for it. Every dollar we raise now will fuel our work as we continue to raise the standard for bold climate action.
