In a moment, we’re going to respectfully ask you to help us reach our end-of-month fundraising goal of $125,000. But before we do, let us explain to you how we got to this number in the first place:
About two to three weeks into each month, our finance team takes stock of our campaign’s fundraising for the month. They calculate how far our fundraising is from where we need to be in order to keep pace with our future plans and investments.
Then, they chart out a plan for us to get to a strong financial place before the month’s end—from setting a specific goal, to determining who we need to ask.
So when we share with you that we need to raise $125,000 by the end of the month John, it’s not a random ask. Every dollar that we ask for is intentional, and it goes towards fueling our movement’s work to keep Katie in Congress and to prepare for any and all fights ahead.
