In the first two weeks of this campaign we’ve already been making several bold new announcements about our plan to build a better future for all Canadians, including to:
Make life more affordable for families by creating 250,000 new child care spaces, and investing in $10 a day child care across Canada
Rebuild the health care system by investing to help eliminate waitlists, and hiring more doctors and nurses to keep Canadians safe and healthy
Bring home ownership within reach for more Canadians, and ask big banks and insurers to help us get there – because every Canadian deserves an affordable place to call home
Increase the Guaranteed Income Supplement and create better care for seniors so they can live in dignity, safety, and comfort
Introduce 10 days of paid sick leave for all federally regulated workers, so no one has to make the difficult choice between their health and paying their bills
Prepare for climate-related disasters and extreme weather events, by training 1,000 new community-based firefighters and helping provide them with the equipment they need to keep themselves and others safe
