C’est avec enthousiasme et une bonne dose de fébrilité que nous vous annonçons que Ruth Ellen Brosseau sera à nouveau candidate du NPD pour porter la voix des gens de Berthier - Maskinongé ! 
 
Après son élection en mai 2011, elle s’est rapidement imposée comme députée appréciée de ses concitoyen·nes et de ses collègues du caucus néo-démocrate. Femme authentique, fonceuse et près des gens, Ruth Ellen a non seulement été une source d’inspiration pour de nombreuses femmes à travers le Canada, mais aussi une députée de cœur qui a toujours placé les intérêts des personnes de sa circonscription au premier plan.

Le retour de Ruth Ellen à ce moment-ci de la campagne électorale arrive au moment où de plus en plus de gens sont intéressés par les propositions du NPD et sont prêts à oser collectivement pour essayer un gouvernement différent.

After her election in May 2011, she quickly established herself as a member of Parliament appreciated by her fellow citizens as well as her colleagues in the NDP caucus. A genuine, down-to-earth woman, Ruth Ellen has not only been an inspiration to many women across Canada, but also a big-hearted MP that has always put her constituents’ interests first.   

  

Ruth Ellen's return at this point in the election campaign comes at a time when more and more people are interested in the NDP's proposals and are willing to collectively dare to try a different kind of government.
