Chairman Proto calls on Connecticut Democrats to hold Biden accountable in the wake of latest Afghanistan disaster
Connecticut- In the wake of the death of more than a dozen of our brave soldiers and additional civilian casualties, we are learning that the Biden-Harris Administration "gave the Taliban a list of names of American citizens, green card holders and Afghan allies to grant entry into the militant-controlled outer perimeter of the city’s airport, a choice that's prompted outrage behind the scenes from lawmakers and military officials."
Basically, they just put all those Afghans on a kill list,” a US defense official told Politico. “It’s just appalling and shocking and makes you feel unclean.”
"Our citizens, troops, and allies deserve more. They deserve a full account of what has transpired," Proto said. "The level of incompetence and indifference of the Biden-Harris Administration is appalling.”
Proto continued, "Americans of all party affiliations are scratching their heads wondering how the Biden-Harris Administration and Congressional Democrats could have executed a strategic withdrawal as poorly as this."
Not one Connecticut Democrat at the federal or state level has called for the Biden Administration to be held accountable.
