Let me level with you: we deserve better from Congress. Between the usual filibustering of Republicans and the recent antics of ‘centrist’ Democrats, progress has been delayed on the issues that matter most — the same policies Biden ran and won on.
Right now, it is a fight to even get all Senate Democrats to do what’s needed to secure the right to vote or pass the President’s progressive budget. We should be ashamed,
as the party of working people, to have members attempting to block legislation that would greatly benefit hard working Americans.
