Six conservative judges just kicked off a mass eviction crisis.

Justice Democrats

John, yesterday, the Supreme Court ended the CDC eviction moratorium.

Cori Bush and other Justice Democrats fought to pass legislation to ensure tenant protections remained in place. But the Democratically-controlled Congress and President Biden haven’t passed legislation to stop evictions. The 6 conservatives on the court even explicitly said that the way to reinstate a moratorium would be for Congress to pass legislation.

Why is the Democratic establishment sitting on their hands in Congress? Because corporate PACs and rich donors don’t want an eviction moratorium. This is why we can’t just elect Democrats, we need to elect BETTER Democrats. That’s what we’re doing at Justice Democrats.

Chip in $3 today to show corporate Democrats the power of the fight to elect working-class progressives to Congress. Together, we can re-elect the Squad and elect new progressive fighters like Jessica Cisneros, Odessa Kelly, Rana Abdelhamid, and Kina Collins.

Tens of thousands of people at least have already been evicted during this pandemic. That’s a moral and public health failure. Every eviction is cruel and unnecessary, driven by profiteering landlords and gentrification.

As long as Congress doesn’t pass strong housing legislation,, there will be increasing evictions and homelessness. Mass evictions are now coming because of the Supreme Court’s ruling and inaction of Democrats in Congress.

We must transform the Democratic Party and push for change. Help us elect a wave of Justice Democrats to fight for the people, not corporate profits. Contribute $3 or anything you can to fuel our work.

Thank you so much for being with us in this fight.

In solidarity,

Justice Democrats
