I am so grateful to our community, and I am also focused on the ongoing disaster relief here at home.

Many residents in my district are still reeling from recent floods that devastated homes and businesses. People are facing thousands of dollars in damages, which they can't afford, and the deadline to apply for FEMA relief is fast approaching.

We’ve reached more than 60,000 residents through phone calls and text messages, providing resources on how to apply for federal disaster relief, or how to appeal a decision that doesn’t meet their needs.

Residents are grateful for these resources, but there’s still more work to do. This level of outreach takes significant campaign resources, and right now we’re short of our monthly fundraising goal by $13,551.
