Travel update in Nottingham 27 August - 3 September

Cycling to school
*Back to school*
With the new term starting in Nottingham on Wednesday 1 September, it's nearly time to start thinking about the school run again.
We're encouraging parents, carers and children to walk, cycle or scoot to school. It's a fun, healthy start to the day, and it also helps take cars off our roads, reducing congestion and improving our air quality.
You can sign up to Operation:School Run [ [link removed] ] to receive weekly missions for your child or children to make the school run even more interesting.
Check out our 'back to school' [ [link removed] ]webpage to find out more about how we're working to make the school run safer through car-free School Streets and other schemes, and hear what local families had to say about why they enjoyed a more active school run.
