John,

As the crisis in Afghanistan has unfolded, over 1,700 IRC team members on the ground have been working tirelessly to provide support and resources to those in need. Their bravery and dedication are truly remarkable.

As a compassionate supporter, you struck me as someone who might be interested in taking part in a special project to say thanks. Will you take a moment to write a note of support and solidarity to IRC team members in Afghanistan? »

IRC team members in Afghanistan — the vast majority of whom are Afghans themselves — are doing everything they can to support internally displaced people and families in crisis. They are facing this unprecedented moment with incredible courage and compassion.

John, please help us show them they are not alone. Sending a note of support only takes a few minutes, but I know it would mean so much to our team members to hear from supporters like you.

We'll be sharing these notes with IRC team members in Afghanistan next week. Send your message of thanks, encouragement, or solidarity today.

Thank you for being a part of the IRC family,

Andrea Kost
