Team,
I'll get right to the point: If the U.S. Supreme Court were to
overturn Roe v. Wade, it would open the door for lawmakers at the
state and federal levels to further restrict access to abortion in the
United States.
We're headed to the U.S. Supreme Court to defend

Roe and it's clear that there's a lot on the line. To protect our
constitutional right to access legal abortion care, we're relying on
the partnership of supporters like you to carry us through.
That's why I hope you'll make a gift of $35 or more right now
to defend reproductive rights for all. Will you make your very first
gift today?

Our current Supreme Court case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health
Organization, challenges a Mississippi law banning abortion after just
15 weeks of pregnancy. The case poses a direct challenge to Roe, and
there is no path for the Court to uphold Mississippi's ban without
overturning the core holding of that landmark 1973 decision.
For years, the Center has been ringing the alarm to make clear that a
Roe reversal would be devastating. In fact, 12 states-including
Mississippi-currently have trigger bans on the books?which
are intended to instantaneously ban abortion if Roe is overturned.
While abortion remains legal in all 50 states today, the outcome of
this case is vital to the future of abortion access in the United
States.
