Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis rejected public health measures as hospitalizations surged and threatened to withhold salaries from district superintendents who mandated masks in schools. Now he's promoting a treatment for COVID-19 that will put money in the pockets of one of his top donors.
DeSantis doesn't care that Floridians are dying from the pandemic. But if we defeat DeSantis, we can put an end to his shameful leadership. And voters know it. A recent poll by The Listener Group found that 53.8% of Floridians disapprove of DeSantis' handling of COVID-19.
