Chairman Hupfer's Statement on Afghanistan

Chairman Kyle Hupfer provided the following statement on US casualties in Afghanistan:

Dog Days of Summer

The dog days of summer aren’t slowing down your Indiana Republican Party. Just a few days ago we were finally able to gather with around 800 of our closest friends and supporters to celebrate the second term on the Holcomb-Crouch team. As I mentioned in a previous newsletter, this gala wasn’t just a celebration of the governor and lieutenant governor. It was an opportunity for all of us to get together and celebrate our shared wins of the 2020 cycle. The next day, I was honored to keynote the Bartholomew County Ice Cream Social. My son Archer even wanted to tag along; although I have a feeling it was more for the ice cream than to hear his dad speak!

As summer comes to an end, I’m excited for what the fall will bring. We’ve opened up applications for the next class of our diversity leadership series (more information is below). We’re out talking to more and more Hoosier Republicans at Lincoln Day Dinners, fairs, festivals and other events. Hoosier Republicans are building even more momentum to carry into 2022. We’re seeing the disastrous results of Democrat leadership in Washington and it couldn’t be a bigger contrast with the record of Republican results we have here in Indiana. United and working together, I know we can take back the House and Senate in DC next year!

Thanks
Kyle

Governor Holcomb's Week That Was

Building One Indiana for All

Governor Holcomb attended the Northwest Indiana Business Hall of Fame Luncheon to discuss all the great work that is being done in Northwest Indiana.

Governor Holcomb joined executives from Beck's to celebrate the completion of their new soybean tower. The facility is part of the company’s ongoing Hamilton County headquarters and production operations expansion, which was announced in 2019 and will create 56 new jobs by the end of 2022.

Hupfer: HR 4 is Just Another Power Grab

Chairman Hupfer, who serves as RNC General Counsel and is fighting to defend election integrity across the country, penned the following op-ed for Real Clear Politics calling out continued Demcorat efforts to subvert our elections. HR 4 is nothing short of a Demcorat Power grab.

"Don’t fall for their partisan lies: H.R. 4 has the same rotten core as H.R. 1 and would make our elections far less secure. H.R. 4’s goal is to eviscerate the right of states to manage their own elections with appropriate transparency and ballot-security safeguards." --Chairman Kyle Hupfer

Happy Birthday Todd!

This week we wished Indiana’s Marine Senator a Happy Birthday!

Bernie Sanders

The Indiana Republican Party issued this statement on today's scheduled visit by Socialist Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders to Tippecanoe County:

“In just six years, Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders has gone from gadfly backbencher to the intellectual leader of today’s Democrat Party. In those six years, today’s Democrats have embraced socialism and other radical policies like defunding the police, packing the Supreme Court, and eliminating even the most basic of election security measures. We hope Socialist Senator Sanders learns something while he’s in the Hoosier State. Like how, after 20 years of Republican leadership in Indiana we live within our means, balance our budgets, keep our tax and regulatory burdens low, and can still make record investments in education, infrastructure and public health. We hope he learns those things, but we won’t hold our breath.”

Mike Pence blasts Biden’s foreign policy humiliation in Afghanistan

Former Vice President Mike Pence blasted the Biden administration’s Afghanistan withdrawal as a “foreign policy humiliation.”

“The humiliating withdrawal that’s underway today, the complete mismanagement of the withdrawal of American forces from Afghanistan, does not take anything away from the incredible service that’s taken place over the last 20 years." -Mike Pence
