Naomi wrote to you on Monday about the Elections Bill that will undergo its second reading in the House of Commons on 7th September.

As the date of the second reading draws nearer, it is absolutely vital that we show MPs across the country that we are engaged and willing to stand up for our rights.

You may think there’s no point. Your MP might be a minister or unlikely to rebel. But by writing to them, you remove their claim that their own constituents support the Bill and have no objections to it. The higher up the damaging effects of this Bill are on MPs’ agendas, the more chance we have of making sure that it does not pass.
