Today is Women’s Equality Day, John. It’s the 101st anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, granting white women the right to vote and marking one stage in women's long fight for political equality.
Today is a day to recognize the generations of women who fought for a better country, a time to celebrate the progress we’ve made, and most importantly; to reflect on all of the work we still have to do.
