No, this isn’t a joke, John –
The NRA just cancelled their Annual Meeting claiming that their “top priority is ensuring the health and well-being of [its] members.” And frankly, that statement is laughable, because In two years since the NRA’s last meeting, over 80,000 Americans have been killed by our gun violence epidemic.
The NRA has never been concerned about health and well-being – instead, they’ve spent decades packing Congress with their cronies and stopping lifesaving gun violence prevention from being passed. And they will continue to choose gun industry profits over the health and safety of Americans every time.
Gun violence prevention activists are dedicated to American safety, and we need every bit of help we can get to stop the NRA’s deadly agenda once and for all – tens of thousands of lives hang in the balance.
