This past week we commended the City Council of Charleston, West Virginia for passing an ordinance that prohibits licensed mental health professionals from subjecting LGBTQ youth to the dangerous and discredited practice of conversion therapy. Charleston is now the first city in the state to protect LGBTQ youth from conversion therapy.
