Your Storm Heaven Intentions Today!
Dear Friend,
I am pleased to say that Cardinal Burke continues to recover
from the corona virus. I am grateful for all the prayers our Rosary
Warriors offered and continue to offer for his rapid and complete
recovery.
As we approach September 1st, we are pleased to announce that
while Cardinal Burke is recovering, I have asked Archbishop Salvatore J.
Cordileone, the Archbishop of San Francisco, to celebrate a
Traditional Latin Mass and lead a rosary on behalf of Operation Storm
Heaven and Rosary Warriors around the globe. So, please save the date
to be part of the Holy Mass and Holy Rosary live from St. Dominic’s
Church, 2390 Bush Street, San Francisco, CA.
September 1, 2021 –
9:30 a.m. Pacific Time
As always, we will be sending out the link with times and
a reminder of the location of the Mass and the recitation of the Most
Holy Rosary, in a separate
email.
As part of Operation Storm Heaven, your intentions are added
each month to the Holy Mass and to the Most Holy Rosary prayed for by
all the Rosary Warriors throughout the world on the 1st
of September.
The Month of September is dedicated to
Our Lady of Sorrows; the feast day is September 15th. In
today’s world, we see and hear of so many sorrows, the plight of
Christians who are trying to flee Afghanistan, farmers who mourn over
devastated crops due to the weather, families that are grieving the
sudden death of a loved one. We must remember that Our Blessed Mother
suffered, inconsolably at times. When each of us suffers, her
sorrowful heart is close to us. A prayer in honor of the Seven
Sorrows of Our Lady beautifully states: “You have drunk so deeply of
the chalice of your Son, you can compassionate our sorrows.”
In fact, during the Fatima apparitions,
the Blessed Mother appeared as Our Lady of Sorrows on Oct. 13, 1917.
This was during her last apparition, where the Miracle of the Sun at
Fatima happened. She also appeared as Our Lady of the Rosary and Our
Lady of Mount Carmel.
Did you know that there is a Rosary of
the Seven Sorrows which includes praying 7 decades, with 7 Hail Mary’s
and no glory be’s.
The Seven Sorrows of Mary:
- The flight into Egypt
- The loss of Jesus for three days in the temple
- Mary meets Jesus on his way to Calvary
- Mary stands at the foot of the cross during Jesus’ crucifixion and
death
- Mary receives the dead body of Jesus taken down from the
Cross
- Mary accompanies the body of Jesus to the tomb
Once again as a Rosary Warrior, I would
like to invite you to present your new
or updated intentions and prayer
requests for Operation Storm Heaven before the 1st
of September.
I would like to take advantage of this
opportunity to thank you for being part of Cardinal Burke's Rosary
Crusade Operation Storm Heaven and
for continuing your prayers for his full recovery. I would
also like to encourage you to recite the Holy Rosary every day as Our
Lady requested, if you do not do so already.
Finally, if you
know others who have intentions and would like to submit them, and to
help others join Operation Storm Heaven, please forward this email
to your family and friends and ask them to click
here.
Your friend in Christ,
Thomas McKenna
