This week in tobacco policy news

Windsor, California – The town council passed an ordinance prohibiting the sale of flavored tobacco products, coupons and discounts on tobacco products and the sale of tobacco products at pharmacies. It also prohibits new retailers from acquiring a license within 1,000 feet of a park or school and limits the number of tobacco retailers to one per 2,000 community members. Enforcement of the new rules will go into effect June 30, 2022.
