"Democracy dies in darkness." The Washington Post added this slogan to its masthead in February 2017 after the Post and other traditional media spent more than 50 years suppressing truthful news while spreading false narratives.

Control of the news media and access to information has always been a core goal of the revolutionary left. If the totalitarian left can control what you know, what you think and what you can say, then democracy surely has died.
