I just got off stage from the rally with Jagmeet in Victoria and the energy is incredible; I’m so proud of the leadership he’s shown this campaign.

This momentum we’re seeing across the country as more Canadians turn to the NDP feels very familiar. As great as it is, though, you and I both know that this is when we need to work the hardest to get out the vote and elect the most New Democrats possible. And it’s clear that New Democrats are digging in and staying focused from coast to coast to coast.

As our opponents see us rise, they go on the attack. We’ve already seen it in the last few days, just as we saw it here in BC two years ago.

John, that’s why having the Fight Back Fund is so essential. We cannot let their attacks distract from what matters most: fighting to make life better for everyday Canadians, not just the rich insiders. Having enough resources in these final days of the campaign is essential, and core supporters are matching every dollar that goes into the Fight Back Fund. Here in BC, we’ve made progress making life more affordable and improving the services people count on, but imagine what we could do here and all over Canada with a New Democratic government in Ottawa.

Canadians are seeing that they don’t have to vote out of fear – they can actually vote for something this election, not just against something. And that makes our opponents afraid.
